WHAT DO PARENTS HAVE TO SAY?Carsen started Music Together when he was 9 months old. Not long after, we noticed him humming the songs from the program to himself. It was then that we decided that he would attend your Pre-school. -The incorporation of the Music Together classes once per week is genius: of course there are the countless studies on the developmental benefits, but the way that you conduct the session and get the children to participate as a group is wonderful. In addition, the weekly meetings give the parents an opportunity to interact with, and get to know, the teachers and classmates. -Your options of 2, 3, or 5 days per week gradually eased our son into the routine of going to school. -Your educational program exceeded our expectations. We were floored when our son began to write us notes, which we are certain was largely due the inclusion of the “Handwriting Without Tears” program. -We felt that he was carefully watched and cared for while at your school. He never came home unhappy and we never felt he was forced to learn. I appreciate that each teacher knew my son and his family by face. Even Miss Michelle, who was never his teacher, would often listen to my concerns and update me on his day. This personal quality was always reassuring. -I was also very impressed with your reinforcement of good hygiene practice; I have witnessed Miss Shelly making sure each hand is washed at appropriate times, and noticed that the teachers and aides wear gloves when handling food. Thanks to you, our son’s first experience with school was a good one! Thank you for your kindness & Patience with the kids. Thank you for enriching all our lives. We are so proud to have our kids a part of your school! We Love Hearing Stories!!! Parents are invited for Music Time! We are all making Music Together!! The power of music in a child's life"Music is the one art we all have inside. We may not be able to play an instrument, but we can sing along or clap or tap our feet. Have you ever seen a baby bouncing up and down in the crib in time to some music? When you think of it, some of that baby's first messages from his or her parents may have been lullabies, or at least the music of their speaking voices. All of us have had the experience of hearing a tune from childhood and having that melody evoke a memory or a feeling. The music we hear early on tends to stay with us all our lives. " Fred Rogers
